UGA vs. TTU: Beat Down

I don't think I've ever felt more sorry for a team than I did today. Georgia destroyed the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles 38-0. I know teams schedule easy games for homecoming, but these poor Golden Eagles were so outmatched they never even got in field goal range. Their two QBs were sacked repeatedly and all the while the Bulldogs were racking up touchdown after touchdown. This team made lackluster Georgia shine like a brand spankin' new penny. I'm sure it gave the Bulldogs the confidence boost they needed after the brutal loss to Florida last week, but I saw no honor in this win.
The Division II Golden Eagles were defeated as they went through the motions during the second half, trailing 38-0 early in the 3rd quarter. In the final minute or so of the game some delay on the field prompted an outburst from their head coach "Finish the fucking play and let's go home!" or something to that effect. It is never fun to watch a team lose their pride. Then again, I'm sure Tennessee and Florida left Georgia feeling just as disgraced.
On the photo front I thoroughly enjoyed the break of shooting an easy game. There was no need to trek up and down the sidelines as only one team ever did anything with the ball. I camped out in the corner of the endzone for the most part and enjoyed the beautiful day.

I actually attended the UGA vs TTU game and I actually felt sorry for the Eagles myself. I am a UGA supporter, but I really feel ashamed of our actions to beat down an opponent that has his hands tied behind his back like this. I understand the reasoning for TTU to come down and play to collect the big payout that will help their budget in the athletic program. Just a poor excuse for both programs to match up knowing the probable outcome of humiliation. Good Luck TTU, I will forever be a fan of the Golden Eagles now as a gesture of my feelings and how sorry this must have made you all feel to be put in this position. Thanks for coming to Athens and I hope the rest of your season is winner!
