The night we got down there, a city neither of us had ever set foot in, we found our way to The Jacksonville Landing to shoot drunken fans for a Saturday centerpiece. We had about an hour to shoot and transmit the photos. We finagled our way in for free which was nice, split up to shoot the madness, then sat on the floor of a parking deck to edit and send. There is nothing more glamorous than photojournalism. It was stressful, but with it came that sense of excitement and accomplishment. The big day was still ahead.

The legendary gameday traffic hardly effected us as we were only staying about 2.5 miles from the Jacksonville Jaguars' Jacksonville Municipal Stadium. It was hot as hell out there. I was shocked that it was still around 90 degrees on Halloween day even for Florida. The game itself was really exciting, for awhile anyway. The Bulldogs took the field in black helmets and pants, a first for UGA. The Gators were dressed in all blue. The Dogs hung with the Gators in the first half, but the accumulation of 9 penalties and 4 interceptions ultimately did them in. The game quickly turned into a 41-17 blowout that left the dogs both black and blue.
